That's simply amazing!

Keep it up! The last one's colours remind me very much of the warmth of the original Monkey Island.

That's an amazing vibe you created.

Nice drawing, nice foreshortening
I was gonna ask about the type of paper, then I was like shrugging thinking meh, then I read the last two lines and now I feel called out.
Looks like very fine grain. Not thick enough? Doesnt look like youre using a lot of water. Are you actually just colouring with black and white or are you making it black and white in post?
Also hi.

I usually use 150gsm A5 dollar store cartridge paper which takes watercolor extremely well (The other stuff on my profile is done with it), but the company degraded it's quality, so I've been trying to dabble with alternatives as of late.

This one was done on 180gsm A4 illustrative paper, also from the dollar store. It's garbage and using an eraser eats at the paper.

They do sell watercolor papers but they are all cold pressed and I hate the appearance of it.

Can't afford high quality materials. lol

It's actually black and white with watercolors, yes:

TaraGraphika responds:

Thank you so much:)

I like the looks of the first painting, theres something about it, maybe the contrast. but its good!

PinkPoppo responds:

A thanks! I had a lot more fun making that one than the other so that's probably why. Like the second painting I was struggling to finish
